Parent Guide
The purpose of the Parent Guide is to provide you with information about the educational process and to share ways you may be meaningfully involved in your child's education. Parents are essential contributors and a major influence in their child's education and success.
Gradebook & Parent Portal
Volusia County Schools is utilizing a new Student Information System (SIS) known as Focus Parent Portal. Infrormation about how to register for the new Focus Parent Portal account was distributed to your child the week of September 9th 2019. If you did not receive the letter from your student with the Parent Portal Pin, please contact the school.
Once you have established your login / pin, you can access the new system by following the link below.
Parents Right to Know
Pursuant to Federal requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLBA), the School Districe of Volusia County is committed to providing information to you regarding your child's teacher and paraprofessional (if applicable) qualifications. Parents have a Right to Know and request this information from their school.
"Where's The Bus" Parent App
WheresTheBus is a resourceful application intended to provide families with tiemly information about the location of each students' bus, including when it is expected to arrive at the designated stop. The app displays the real-time minutes and miles of where the bus is located in proximity to the household's bus stop assignment. Based upon precise GPS location, the app updates every 15 seconds. Any member of the bus-riding household can access this ifnormation from any internet connected device using the account information created by the Parent and/or Guardian.
